This joint meeting, a NSMCA first, will bring together both experienced and new collectors of a wide variety of barbershop memorabilia in addition to Shaving Mugs and Razors, Razor Blades, Blade Banks, Barber Poles, Barbershop Furniture, Advertising, and more. We expect a large turnout and anticipate that this joint meeting will be the largest and most comprehensive barbershop memorabilia gathering ever.

So plan ahead NOW, for this unique opportunity to fraternize with fellow enthusiasts; buy, sell, and swap your prized barbershop memorabilia possessions; attend many presentations; and make new collector-friends.

NSMCA Spring 2010 Meeting – San Augustine, FL in April, 2010

More Future NSMCA Meetings

Some members have suggested additional Regional meetings and/or Special Topical meetings. The NSMCA Board of Directors is considering such meetings. At our Fall 2008 meeting, the Board approved a Regional NSMCA meeting “Out West” in the near future, under local NSMCA member sponsorship and with the potential of 15+ attendees. Please contact any NSMCA board member with your ideas concerning this meeting in the western US or with you r ideas for future Topical meetings.

Keep watching NSMCA.net for particulars of our future regular membership meetings, as well as special Regional and/or Topical meetings.

Many of NSMCA members have expressed their need for more advanced notice of our Spring and Fall membership meetings. We hope that this Upcoming Meetings feature meets that need. Today, our membership collects not only shaving mugs, but barber bottles, razors, strops, barber poles, barber chairs, barber shop back bars, mug racks, shaving brushes, razor blade banks, bleeding bowls, ephemera and just about anything else that relates to a barber shop or barbering in general.
